This is Rafael Nájera’s personal website. As of December 2008, I am a PhD candidate in the Philosophy Department at McGill University in Montreal, Québec, Canada. I’m working on a thesis related to Metaphysics and the reception and commentary of Aristotle’s philosophy by Arabic and Latin writing authors from the 11th to the 14th century. I got to this choice of specialization after doing some work in Early Modern Philosophy. I’m still very interested in Early Modern Philosophy, specially in Spinoza.
I’m currently on a break from updating and maintaining this website until 2010 or so. Old posts are still available through the archive, category and tag links below or through the Posts page.

Este es el website personal de Rafael Nájera. Actualmente, diciembre de 2008, estoy haciendo un doctorado en filosofía en la universidad McGill en Montreal, provincia de Quebec, Canadá. Estoy en la fase de redacción de mi tesis, la cual va a ser sobre metafísica y la recepción y comentario de la filosofía aristotélica en autores medievales latinos y arábicos. Llegué a esta especialización tras haber hecho algunos estudios sobre los inicios de la filosofía moderna. Todavía me interesa esta época, en especial Spinoza.
